Chen Tai Chi: Push Hands, Form & Sword
Returns March 2-4, 2018
Master Wang Hai Jun returns March 2-4, 2018 to continue teaching, reviewing and refining our practice. Saturday we will review the first Chen-style tai chi form, laojia yilu; Sunday he will continue teaching the straight sword form; Friday night he will lead us in push-hands practice. Master Wang is a true master of Chen Tai Chi, a wonderful person, and an excellent teacher of the highest caliber. Please join us to observe and train with a master who embodies the highest level of Tai Chi practice and be changed and inspired by that experience. Master Wang tours extensively throughout Europe so we are honored to have him join us here in North Carolina.

Spring Aikido seminar with Sensei Wee-Wow Dumlao

M. Cristina (“Wee-wow”) Dumlao, 6th degree black belt, Shidoin, is the founder and Chief Instructor of Gold Coast Aikikai in Miami, Florida. Sensei Dumlao has been practicing martial arts continuously for over 32 years. She has practiced Aikido, Jujitsu, Tai Chi, and Escrima/Buno (Filipino).
Having cross-trained in the Filipino Martial Arts and Ju-jitsu, her style of Aikido practice is very intensive and practical, while retaining the fluid and graceful motions characteristic of Aikido techniques.
