Sensei Steve Kaufmann and Sensei Cameron Panee with their beginning and intermediate Aikido classes at Duke University, Spring 2012. Classes are 1 hr. 20 minutes long and you need to be a registered Duke student to join. Classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Fall and Spring semesters.

There are always a few students at Duke who take our Aikido classes for a number of semesters and by the time they graduate they are really good and ready to train at any Aikido dojo in the world.

Aikido Intro Class for Kids 5–7

Steve Sensei teaching beginning Aikido rolls

We are looking for great kids to join the fun.Our Tuesday Aikido Intro class includes kids ages 5 through 7. Class size is limited to 12.

This Aikido introduction helps kids 5 – 7 learn to use their whole body to roll and fall and move quickly—then, quick as a flash, how to sit like a rock. Great for focusing high energy and gaining self control. Aikido is a peaceful and centering martial art.

We accept kids on an on-going basis. Class time is 4-4:30 p.m. $50/month, $225 for semester ending May 26, 2012. Registration of $35 is a one time fee and holds a place in the class.

Tai Chi in Hillsborough & Chapel Hill, NC

Hillsborough, Tai Chi for Older Adults added. Saturdays, 12-12:45 Ongoing enrollment.

Class aimed at people who want to improve motion. Older adults welcome. Individual attention a priority. Apply Tai Chi principles to improve movement.

Sundays- Tai Chi for Health 10:15-11 a.m. Chapel Hill. Great for adults of all ages.

9-10 a.m. Tai Chi Forms. Perfect for athletic adults. Principles apply to sports and martial arts. A great workout.

We welcome new kids

Kids Aikido class is a great example of cooperation– kids helping kids. Our Sensei, Steve Kaufmann is a licensed public school teacher. He teaches to children’s different learning styles and developmental levels. Great for boys and girls of all shapes and sizes, ages 8 through young teens.

We accept beginners in all class times.

Class times Your choice of Monday & Wednesday, 4-5 p.m. classes & Saturday 9:30-10:30 a.m. classes during Fall and Winter semesters. We accept students throughout the term.
