Basic Tai Chi class, Wednesdays, 5:45-6:45 p.m. June 5 – August 21, 2013.

Step by step instruction in Tai Chi that improves alignment, balance, increases mobility of the spine. Exercises for calm breathing, stretching, Chen silk reeling.

Prepares student for Chen Tai Chi long form.

11 classes/$100 due first day of class. Limited class size.

Classes start Tuesday, September 2.

We are looking for great kids to join the fun.Our Tuesday Aikido Intro class includes kids ages 5 through 7. Class size is limited to 12.This Aikido introduction helps kids 5 – 7 learn to use their whole body to roll and fall and move quickly—then, quick as a flash, how to sit like a rock. Great for focusing high energy and gaining self control. Aikido is a peaceful and centering martial art. 2013 Kids Fall Fees

We accept kids on an on-going basis. Class time is 4-4:30 p.m. $50/month. Registration of $35 is a one time fee and holds a place in the class. Email for registration form and more info.

We welcome kids 8-13.

Kids Aikido classes are a great example of cooperation– kids helping kids. Our Sensei, Steve Kaufmann is a licensed public school teacher. He teaches to children’s different learning styles and developmental levels. Great for boys and girls of all shapes and sizes, ages 8 through young teens.

We accept beginners in all class times. Aikido is cooperative, kids practice in pairs. Kids learn self control through the structure of traditional Aikido.

Sitting on the seiza (learning) line, bowing respectfully to partners and teachers, and then practice, practice, practice! Lots of rolling, falling, safety and respect for each other.

Class times Your choice of Monday & Wednesday, 4-5 p.m. classes & Saturday 9:30-10:30 a.m. classes during Fall and Winter semesters. We accept students throughout the term. Monthly & semester fees available. See our Downloads page for prices. $35 deposit holds your child’s place in Fall semester classes. Fall Kids program starts Wednesday, September 3, 2013.
